Nick Schroeter recently joined Causeway Solutions as a Marketing Analyst a few months ago. Nick works with our digital analytics and media department to build out new solutions and services for our clients.

In our latest Causeway Cribs, check out Nick’s hometown.

1. How long have you worked at Causeway?
2.5 Months.

2. What would you say…you do here?
Part of the marketing measurement team. I build reports, automate processes, and have a side gig on the Causeway podcast!

3. What is your most memorable experience at Causeway?
Trip the Jacksonville – was amazing to meet the team, learn so much about the company, and build real-life connections.

4. Do you have a spouse? Children? Pets? Plants??
Girlfriend of 5 years. Pet snake named “Bruno” and pet Tarantula named “Lebron”

5. Where did you grow up?
Born in Sydney, Australia and started growing up there. Moved to Westchester, New York and grew up the rest of my childhood there.

6. Why Causeway?
I love data, and I love communication. Causeway is the bridge between data and decision-makers, and that bridge is where I find the most interest.

7. What's on your bucket list?
See the pyramids in Egypt.

8. Favorite Trip?
My favorite trip was when I went to Austria. They had the best brick oven pizza known to mankind. Also, the scenery was captivating.

Where is your Causeway Solutions home office located? How long have you been there?
Fitler Square, Philadelphia, PA – 3.5 years of college here and moved back here 3 months ago.

What is unique about your home or location compared to the homes of the rest of the company?

  • My building was the Campbell Soup family’s brownstone mansion in Philadelphia. Built in the 1860s. Much of the building and my apartment is original.
  • Living in America’s first capital and specifically a 20-minute walk from Independence Hall.
  • 44% of the homes in my zip code within Philly were built in 1939 or earlier.

What is your favorite thing about your home or location?

  • The history and beauty that history brings.
  • The food is incredible with endless options in Philly, and some of the nation's best restaurants.

Location Analysis

Hearing about Nick’s travels all around the world, we decided to look into the number of other international travelers in his neighborhood.

  • We flagged about 1,300 other international travelers or about 8.2% of the people in Nick's neighborhood!
  • Despite the high raw number of international travelers in Nick’s area, his neighborhood actually has one of the smallest total numbers of travelers in a five-mile radius compared to the other areas, which range from around 500 international travelers, those areas located closest to Nick’s, to over 4,000, specifically the areas below and to the west of Nick.
  • Although the raw numbers of international travelers may be higher in some areas outside of Nick’s neighborhood, the percentages of international travelers compared to the general population in all of these areas is close to the same, around 8-10%.
