Responsibilities

  • MONITOR RESOURCES FOR LIVE PROJECTS: The primary responsibility of the Director of Research will be to manage and monitor the ongoing quantitative and qualitative research projects conducted by Causeway Solutions.
  • ESTABLISH RESEARCH CONTRACTS AND MONITOR COSTS: The Director of Research will be responsible for establishing research contracts with specific vendors and for negotiating price structures for each specific research project.
  • TRACK PROPOSED RESEARCH TIMING TO ENSURE CLIENT NEEDS ARE MET: The Director of Research will keep close tabs on proposed research timing to ensure field time and analysis time are met and that enough bandwidth exists within our current contracts to fulfill sold products. ?? To meet timing requirements
  • WORK WITH ANALYTICS TEAM TO STREAMLINE RESEARCH PROCESS: The Director of Research, working directly under the VP of Analytics, will develop best practice guidelines and processes by which Causeway Solutions will continue to conduct quality, accurate, actionable analysis and research.
  • DEVELOP AND DEPLOY PRODUCT MARKETING AND CREATE DEMAND MATERIALS: The Director of Research will work with the VP of Insights and Analytics and the VP of Analytics to create marketing and “create demand” materials around research products.
  • MAINTAIN WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF RESEARCH OFFERINGS AND OFFER SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT: The Director of Research will maintain a working knowledge of industry standards and trends and will stay abreast of updates and advancements that would benefit Causeway Solutions and our clients.

Professional Background:

  • Experience conducting telephone survey research.
  • Experience with statistical software (SPSS, R, Python) for managing toplines and crosstabs of quantitative research.
  • Working knowledge of latest trends and concerns with modern survey research.
  • Proven ability to analyze information to find trends or diagnose problem areas.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated capabilities to be creative in visualizing complex information.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful management in stressful professional situations.
  • Experience in political or advocacy data and research is a plus.
