William "Bill" Skelly

CEO


As founder of Causeway Solutions, Bill’s experience in the field of data and analytics ensures that clients remain on the cutting edge of technological and strategic advances. Bill spent over a decade at the Republican National Committee leading a team that revolutionized how political data is generated and used in campaigns. As Deputy Director of Strategy for External Support, Bill developed an exceptional talent for distilling vast quantities of information to make very complex concepts approachable and understandable. He is a leader in helping clients use data in the most impactful and cost-effective ways.

Bill’s political work allowed him to gain experience and familiarity within every corner of the country. Recognized as an industry leader on the national level, Bill has worked in an advisory role with many of the most influential people and organizations – including President George W. Bush, Senator John McCain, Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and President Donald J. Trump. With the evolution of Causeway Solutions, Bill has expanded his talent beyond the political realm by helping corporations, public affairs, and healthcare systems and providers harness the power of data. This expansion has allowed Bill to further provide all of his clients with innovative data services and actionable analytics ranging from community research, patient acquisition, customer intelligence, and franchise development and expansion.

Born in southern New Jersey, Bill graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. with a degree in Communications, Legal Studies, Economics and Government. He currently resides in New Orleans, Louisiana, with his wife, Jessica and their two children.

Joel Cochran

VP Technology


Joel is the Vice President of Technology. Prior to joining Causeway Solutions, Joel served as a Technical Evangelist on the Microsoft Campaign Technology Services team and worked with numerous campaigns and committee partners throughout the country during the 2016 presidential campaign cycle.

Following his service in the United States Army, he began his post-military career at a software company in Florida ss a software developer on the IBM AS/400 platform. He then worked for a micro-ISV in Virginia writing software for local governments. This period led him through a wide range of technologies such as RPG, DB2, Java, Perl, PHP, MySQL, Linux, and more.In 2003, Joel discovered C#, .NET, and SQL Server and has been dedicated to the Microsoft stack ever since. Joel is an expert at leveraging Microsoft Azure’s many features and services to build innovative solutions. Throughout his career he has ranged through a variety of web, desktop, and database development tools and environments. An accomplished writer and speaker, Joel is passionate about teaching and was recognized as a 6-time Microsoft MVP.

Joel was born in Virginia and grew up in Iowa. He earned his degree from James Madison University and lives in Harrisonburg, Virginia, with his family.

Chris McNulty

VP Political Insight


Chris McNulty is the VP of Political Insight at Causeway Solutions. Prior to joining Causeway Solutions Chris served as the Political Director at the Republican National Committee where he rebuilt the Republican National Committees [RNC] field program from the ground up. RNC Chairman Reince Priebus referred to McNulty as a “transformational” Political Director for the multiple advances he instituted within the Party, including greater integration of data and the successful introduction of predictive voter scores into field programs.

Under Chris’s leadership voter contact programs were tested to discern the optimal mix of contact type and frequency for the first time in over a decade. The 2014 election cycle produced a higher level of elected Republicans, including the most members of the House since 1929, the highest number of legislatures held in American history, 31 Republican Governors, and a gain of 9 Republican U.S. Senate seats.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, McNulty cut his teeth in politics working for the iconic Ohio GOP Party Boss Bob Bennett. McNulty worked at the Ohio Republican Party for 11 years serving the final 6 as Executive Director. McNulty was praised by President Bush for his leadership role in the infamous Florida recount in 200. Under his leadership McNulty helped deliver Ohio for President George W. Bush’s successful re-election campaign in 2004.

McNulty also served as the RNC’s Regional Political Director from 2006 until 2010 when he joined Speaker John Boehner’s Political Office of the Speaker to serve as Deputy Executive Director. McNulty successfully retained the GOP House Majority in 2012.

Chris lives in Ohio with his wife, Jenna, and their three children Rocco, Clare and Massimo.

Thérèse Mulvey

VP of Strategy & Insight


Thérèse is the Vice President of Strategy and Insight. Previously Thérèse worked in media, including television, newspaper, direct mail and digital, where she successfully translated consumer data into insights that address key business issues. Thérèse has over two decades of success driving profit, growth, and market expansion through the strategic optimization of marketing analytics, research, and business development.

Thérèse uses business acumen, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance marketing and brand development goals while driving innovation and new solutions. Thérèse designed the print industry’s first response measurement database that allowed advertisers to predict print advertising results with 90% accuracy. An award-winning marketer and recognized media marketing industry thought leader, Thérèse has a passion for understanding today's consumer and what drives their behavior.

Thérèse is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and resides in Connecticut with her husband, Brad, and their two children.

Molly Rutledge

VP Analytics


Molly is the Vice President of Analytics. She is responsible for helping clients digest and understand their data assets. Molly has been leading Causeway’s development of data, analytics and intelligence functions while supporting overall company growth. Molly began her data management career at TargetPoint Consulting, where she learned the art of micro-targeting and preparing large quantities of data for survey research and modeling efforts. Molly also has served in senior data and strategic management roles with both presidential and gubernatorial campaigns.

Throughout her career, Molly has successfully leveraged data for key programs and objectives including multi-million-dollar client projects and initiatives. Molly is a strong leader both internally and externally, providing valuable guidance to high-profile individuals while earning their trust and respect.

Molly graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Political Science and a M.S. in Business Analytics. She now resides in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Tim Duer, PT, MBA

Director of Healthcare Analytics


Tim is the Director of Healthcare Analytics at Causeway Solutions. He leads the development of new healthcare solutions leveraging the data science and analytic capabilities of Causeway with the rapid demands of the new medical landscape.

Tim is a board-certified clinical specialist in sports medicine and a certified strength and conditioning specialist. In 2003, Tim began his clinical work in a private practice with orthopedic care for patients of all ages. Since 2010, he has worked in a large multi-hospital health system, transitioning from clinical practice to manager and operational director of ambulatory practice. Tim is experienced in lean/continuous improvement and clinical-operational integration. He utilizes his balanced background of hands-on clinical care and business understanding to develop novel approaches to the rapidly evolving healthcare marketplace.

Tim graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Villanova University and received a master’s degree in physical therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. Tim received his masters of business administration degree from Wilmington University, with a concentration in healthcare administration. Tim resides in South Jersey with his wife, Stacey, and three children. They are all avid fans of Villanova basketball and all Philadelphia sports squads.

Madeleine Mattesky

Director of Client Analytics


Madeleine is the Director of Client Analytics. She works directly with clients on data management, strategy, and implementation. She evaluates client goals to design and provide data-driven insights and solutions that drive client success.

In her time with Causeway Solutions, Madeleine has worked with several private companies, nonprofit organizations, and federal and state campaigns to implement strategic targeting initiatives. Madeleine serves as a main point of contact for daily client communication and oversees project management. Additionally, Madeleine manages Causeway’s digital onboarding and data processing and enhancement services, empowering clients to maximize the use of their data.

A graduate of the University of Georgia where she received a B.S. in Genetics, Madeleine joined the Causeway Solutions team in 2015. A native New Orleanian, she endured life as a Bulldog fan in Tiger territory before relocating to Washington, D.C., where she currently resides.

Lauren Kornick

Manager of Strategic Partnerships


Lauren is the Manager of Strategic Partnerships. She works with vendors and partners to ensure our Analytics Team has the tools and data necessary to provide best-in-class analytics to our customers. Lauren is passionate about using and collecting data on people’s behaviors. She is developing skills to become a bridge between the technology and data, the implementation of facilitating the data and the analytics of delivering prescriptive information to clients.

Born and raised in the New Orleans area, Lauren joined Causeway Solutions after graduating magna cum laude from Tulane University with a BSM in Marketing and concurrent major in Digital Media. Outside of work, Lauren and her twin sister love critiquing entertainment media and agonizing over the foibles of the New Orleans Saints.

Hailey Russell

Senior Analyst


Hailey is a Senior Analyst on the Data Analytics Team. She is an integral part of helping Causeway deliver custom analytics to our clients. She specializes in creating data models and delivering actionable intelligence to our customers.

Hailey graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a B.A in Political Science. Born and raised in Biloxi, Mississippi, Hailey credits her parents for her strong passion for politics. In her spare time, Hailey likes to hang out with her family, paint, learn even more about statistical modeling, and fall off into a good book

William Fitzpatrick

Junior Analyst


William is a Junior Analyst. He works with the team to deliver custom analytics to our clients. William’s days are spent fulfilling client requests, which can include anything from simple SQL queries to creating complex maps, as our resident ESRI expert.

William is a graduate of the University of Alabama, where he received a B.S. in Economics, with a specialization in Public Policy & Law. A New Orleans native, William has always had an interest in the intersection of the worlds of politics and finance and hopes to utilize his unique perspective as an asset to Causeway Solutions.
